To say that we are a Reformed church means that we are committed to the authority of the Bible as God's inspired and inerrant Word and that we are a church which continually seeks to reform our beliefs and practices according to the Bible. At CREC, we strive to anchor ourselves in the unchanging truth of the Scriptures, conforming our lives, our thoughts, and our actions to it. CREC is in agreement with historic Christianity as expressed in the Apostles, Nicene, and Chalcedonian Creeds. We also seek to build on the faithful heritage of the Protestant Reformation as embodied in the Westminster Confession of Faith, which we recognize as a more detailed summary of the Bible's teaching on God, man, this life, and the life to come.
